Development of the School’s Features
透過校級重點發展計畫,共同以多重面向發展具學校特色與優勢的跨學院合作課程,展現一個個精彩的創新教學成果,創造「關渡光藝術節」、「科技與音樂跨域實驗劇場」、「輕量級-跨校跨域創作工作坊」、「北藝大博班實驗室」及「社會參與式藝術學習」作為藝術高等教育品牌典範,長期且具計畫性的培養、鼓勵學生自主學習,此跨域合作學習模式具有臺灣獨一無二、不可取代的教育功能性。
TNUA established unique and long-term inter-faculty outstanding higher art education project like Kuandu Light Art Festival, Technology and Music Transdisciplinary Experimental Theater, Light Weight Interdisciplinary Workshop, Taipei Arts Doctoral Research Lab, and Socially Engaged Art with well-planned strategies and learning autonomy of the students.

關渡光藝術節是新媒體藝術學系對於「什麼是跨領域藝術」不斷的追問與實驗,並透過顛覆場館與藝術體驗的大型新媒體劇場實驗成果。2020關渡光藝術節《量子糾纏》,打破美術館建築的物理邊界,以「美術館是一個巨型計算機器」為概念,將「美術館視為一個大型藝術作品」,開拓封閉場館與戶外空間的延伸性,創造關渡美術館成為一個全新的展演空間的可能。
2020關渡光藝術節集結新媒體藝術學系師生、校友,每與不同學院單位合作,共開設5門課程、6場工作坊與系列講座,參與學生512人次;展期自10月23日至11月22日,參觀人次7,024人、7場藝術漫遊導覽,透過展演實務課程與工作坊運作,引進業界專業師資與設備資源,培育參與學生與產業接軌之專案製作與實務能力。
Kuandu Light Art Festival, a large subversive new media theatrical experimental production of New Media Art’s curiosity after interdisciplinary art, rebelled against material limit and the boundaries of venue in the 2020 Kuandu Light Art Festival - Quantum Entanglement and turned the art museum into a gigantic computing machine as an artwork. Professors, students, and alumni of New Media Art cooperated with different faculties during the 2020 Kuandu Light Art Festival and organized five courses, six workshops, and reached 512 students. Moreover, the exhibition of the Festival has reached 7024 people from 23, October to 22, November with seven art touring promenades. The Festival enriched students’ capability of project implementation through courses, workshops, and introductions of professionals from the industries.

北藝大音樂學系與新媒體藝術學系自106年起與法國里昂國家音樂研創中心(Centre National de Création Musicale, GRAME)展開緊密合作,邀請知名擊樂演奏家Jean Geoffroy擔任藝術指導,啟動一系列對當代音樂與科技藝術的國際跨域創新實驗教學與展演計畫;繼《絢璧》(106)、《驅動聲音的光》(107)、《能量轉換》(108)後,109年,奠基於往年跨系跨國合作共創的經驗,將跨國合作網絡進一步推展至法國國立里昂高等音樂舞蹈學院(Conservatoires Nationaux Supérieurs de Musique et de Danse de Paris et de Lyon, CNSMDL)與法國里昂藝術創新與傳播中心(Laboratoire d’Interprète / Scénographie Instrumentale, LiSiLoG)。在二系教授帶領下,音樂學系作曲組、演奏組與新媒體藝術學系數十位學生組成多元共創團隊,歷經九個月課程教學、工作坊、實作研發、階段呈現、創作重組統整、劇場排練等過程,以《後花園》為主題,將自製樂器、真實器樂、互動電聲與影像裝置加以整合,建構出超越既定框架、極具實驗與創新的跨域展演模式「科技與音樂跨域實驗劇場」,於關渡藝術節售票演出,不但票房成績亮眼,更獲得眾多各界專業人士的高度評價。
此外,本項跨域合作更是具有臺灣獨一無二、不可取代的教育功能性。由於北藝大是臺灣少數同時設有新媒體藝術與音樂二專業領域學系的高等教育學府,不僅擁有完備成熟的技術與軟硬體資源,專業師資亦活躍於各自專業產業;為充分發揮此一獨特性而量身打造,連結各自系所特色專業,新媒體藝術學系團隊負責新媒體科技應用聲音與影像技術研發與操作,音樂學系團隊擔任結合科技技術與音樂創作者與演奏者,同時兼顧藝術性與教育性,更顯得其教育功能上的獨特意義。
Based on the previous international collaboration with Centre National de Création Musicale, GRAME led by percussionist Jean Geoffroy on various experimental interdisciplinary contemporary music and technological art projects including Incarnating Sounds (2017), Looking Sounds (2018), and Energy Transfigured (2019), the Department of Music and the Department of New Media Art stepped further to cooperate with Conservatoires Nationaux Supérieurs de Musique et de Danse de Paris et de Lyon and Laboratoire d’Interprète / Scénographie Instrumentale to create Post Garden, a Technology and Music Transdisciplinary Experimental Theater in 2020, under the lead of professors of the two departments and worked through workshops, developments, short-term presentations, rehearsals in nine months to embody an experimental and innovative performance through handmade instruments and interactive installations.
As one of the few universities which contains both New Media Art and Music with comprehensive resources of technique, appliance of hard and software, and professional faculties, the collaboration represented a unique and indispensable breakthrough of Taiwan’s art education. The collaboration has embodied the uniqueness of the combination of art and education with the New Media team developing sight and sound with technology and the Music team combining performing and composing with technology.

由三系所學生於課程修讀組成劇場團隊跨域合作,以其嚴謹的專業訓練,從創作、製作、募資行銷到演出的完整製作體驗表演藝術型態,充分展現藝術原創之不可取代性、跨領域合作之緊密聯結性、藝術與科技融合之前瞻性藝術特色,呈現紮實的學院派創作。作品參與桃園科技藝術節獲第一屆「桃園科技表演藝術獎」評審團特別獎,109年10月於桃園展演中心演出2場,開放登記索票,並邀請桃園地區高中師生欣賞演出,觀眾約1,200人次。
Begun-branch Line, the winning artwork of the Special Jury Award of Performing Art at Taoyuan Art x Technology Festival was produced interdisciplinarily by the theatre team of students from the three faculties of TNUA with strict training of creating, producing, crowdfunding to performance. The team illustrated the indispensability of authenticity, inseparability of interdisciplinary cooperation, and the foresight of integration of art and technology. The musical was performed at Taoyuan Arts Center in October, 2020 with the audience of 1200 people.

2. 展演驅動的知識統整:跨域混創回應學習
Performance-driven Knowledge: Interdisciplinary Creating and Learning
109年藉此計畫結合校內不同領域知識和技能的學習,帶領學生從田野感知經驗,發展跨界知識統整學習模式之實驗性藝術課程,透過創作的形成,學生得到深度社會參與經驗,培養以藝術呈現社會議題與面貌方式,讓創作過程,既是新知識創造生產,也是意義的顯現與提出。
In 2020, through the knowledge and skills, students participated and experienced in field research and experimental art courses to investigate the interdisciplinary issues of the society. Throughout working on the artworks demonstrating the issues, students experienced the issues, learned to embody social issues diversely, and created new definitions and messages for the society.

活水的芬芳計畫已持續推動第3年,由教師帶著學生們或一起從教室走出校園,參與如桃園土地公藝術節活動,訪問越南、柬埔寨吳哥等地傳統藝術工作者,拓展學習的地平線,在共學參訪過程中創造出跨域可能與多樣性。
109年合作課程藉由課堂講授、閱讀探討傳授相關理論及方法,以及實際進入田野的實踐模式、移地教學,讓學生掌握文化資源、傳統工藝及民俗文化的發展脈絡及其內涵,進而達到田野調查技能與相關知識的提升,以此做為舞蹈、音樂藝術創作的泉源,產出展演作品和影音創作記錄。作品《一簑煙雨》由舞蹈學系張曉雄主任編舞,帶領3系所師生共同創發,深化學生們對於傳統音樂結合當代肢體動作之創新語彙理解與互動。
The Fragrance of Living Water Project has been reaching out to communities and people including the Folklore Festival of Tudigong in Taoyuan or traditional art workers in Vietnam and Cambodia through lectures, reading, theory discussions for three years. In 2020, students investigated deeper into the evolution and richness of cultural heritage, traditional crafts and folk culture and turned them into inspirations for artworks like Through Mist and Rain, a piece choreographed by Professor Zhang Xiao-Xiong of the Institute of Dance with the other two departments, to demonstrate the interaction of traditional music and contemporary dance.
