今年，北藝大新媒體藝術學系很榮幸地再度受邀參加奧地利林茲電子藝術節！期待能夠藉此機會與全球觀眾分享台灣優秀的媒體藝術！
奧地利林茲電子藝術節（ Ars Electronica Festival）為全球規模最大的電子藝術節，北藝大新媒體藝術系今年再度獲邀參加，推出展覽：「觀察者模式（ Observer Pattern）」，將於 9月 4日至 8日在奧地利林茲市舉行。展覽將展出江紹綸、呂坤彧、謝佩庭、郭子耘、鄭祖豪，五位現就讀於北藝大新媒系藝術家的精彩作品。
《觀察者模式》從當代機器擴展人類感知、與人協作的情境出發，探討在人類與機器嵌合的社會環境中，機器亦成為藝術創作的「觀察者」之一，成為科技藝術生產中的重要一環，而科技藝術如何讓人重新思考觀察的意義與存在的方式。

⛚ 觀察者模式 ⛚
如今，機器的感測器、影像處理、聲音處理、數據分析與反饋等都成為媒體藝術中重要的一部分，而藝術家如何在機器的擴延與協作下進行創作呢 ?
「觀察者模式」展覽以行為設計模式來類比與檢視藝術中機器的角色。當藝術家作為主體時，機器不僅是藝術生產的工具，或是將腦中概念轉化為作品的中介，更在各階段中扮演重要角色──從觀察開始。
隨著機器日益智慧化，人類的生命與組織模式也漸漸顯露出系統運作的特徵。機器不僅延伸了人的感官，與人協作，亦成為觀察者：從冷靜的角度出發，重塑了人與世界被觀察的形貌。在人與機器相互耦合的情境下，台灣作為一個長久以來消失卻又被帝國凝視的島嶼，包括對個體意志與科技文化的重視，以及其複雜的混種狀態，雖然尚未成形，卻已映入眼簾。
通過機器與周圍世界互動，藝術家將內在的直覺、情感、思維等轉譯成創造性生產。經由「觀察者模式」展覽，揭示機器如何成為一種新的觀察者，與人類共同塑造一個意義的世界。

⛚ Observer Pattern ⛚
Today, sensors, image processing,sound processing, data analysis, and feedback have all become integralcomponents in media art. How do artists create with the extension andcollaboration of machines?
In the “Observer Pattern”exhibition, the roles of machines in art are analogized and examined based onbehavioral patterns. When the artist is the subject, machines are not onlytools for artistic production or intermediaries that transform concepts into works,but also play important roles in each stage── beginningwith observation.
As machines are becomingincreasingly intelligent, people’s lives and organizational patterns aregradually taking on the characteristics of systems operations. Machines extendthe sensory perceptions of humans and collaborate with them. They also becomeobservers. With a detached perspective as the starting point, they reshape howhumans and the world are observed.
Within the context ofhuman-machine coupling, Taiwan is an island that has long been out of sight,yet has continually been gazed upon by empires. It emerges in a complex hybridstate, including its emphasis on individual will and technological culture. Althoughnot fully formed, this state is already in view.
Through interactions betweenmachines and the surrounding world, artists translate their inner intuition,emotions, and thoughts into creative production. The 'ObserverPattern' exhibition reveals how machines become new observers, co-shapinga world of meaning alongside humans.
